What does the future hold for your small business?

How quickly can small businesses access working capital? Just ask Gary Cole, the time traveling spokesperson starring in Kabbage’s first national TV campaign.

The timing is right. Now entering our 10th year, Kabbage has helped more than 165,000 small businesses access over $6 billion of funding.  Just last year the company provided $2 billion in working capital and hit another milestone by extending small businesses access to more than $10 million per day. With our new campaign, “10 Minutes in the Future,” we hope more small businesses will learn about Kabbage.

A small business owner’s most valuable resource is time, and the speed and ease of our platform simplifies funding. This insight drove development of the campaign and the “10 Minutes in the Future” concept was born. It was a fun way to highlight how easy it is to get a Kabbage line of credit while showing how funding can help a business thrive. Gary Cole was at the top of our list to star in the spot and we were thrilled when he said yes. We knew his clever style of humor and ability to play different characters would fit well with the future concept.

Small businesses represent 99% of all companies in the U.S., are more than 50% of the non-agriculture GDP, and employ half of the U.S. workforce. They’re vital for all economies. But, they need working capital to grow. It’s the oxygen of business. We fit into their growth by making it simple for them to access the funding they need, when they need, without mountains of paperwork or long delays for an approval through traditional methods. In minutes, a small business can attain the capital they need with Kabbage to cover payroll, buy inventory–or even land the proverbial Gundelfinger account. We give them the purchasing power and peace of mind to make that happen.

The “10 Minutes in the Future” campaign was created in partnership with our agency Eleven, a 2018 Ad Age Agency of the Year. It’s now live across the U.S. on traditional broadcast channels, over-the-top (OTT) networks, and streaming platforms.

With this national campaign, we aim to reach more small businesses owners like Laurence Girard of Fruitstreet in New York City, New York who said “I was researching funding options on my couch one weekend morning when I found Kabbage. Five minutes later I was approved for $50,000. It was so much more convenient than going through a long application process with a traditional bank.”

At Kabbage, we like to celebrate small businesses’ cork popping moments and are excited for what the future holds for them – 10 minutes, or 10 years from now!
