Times Square Arts, in partnership with Advertising Week, is seeking submissions of original moving-image art from artists working in the field of advertising. The winner’s work will be exhibited on participating electronic billboards in Times Square as the Midnight Moment for the full month of September 2017, 11:57 PM – 12:00 AM, in celebration of the 14th edition of Advertising Week in New York. The submission deadline for final works is July 1st.

Midnight Moment is the world’s largest, longest-running digital art exhibition, synchronized on electronic billboards throughout Times Square nightly from 11:57pm to midnight. Presented by the Times Square Advertising Coalition and curated by Times Square Arts since 2012, it has an estimated annual viewership of 2.5 million. Past artists who have had their work exhibited as part of the Midnight Moment exhibition include Yoko Ono, Laurie Anderson, Robert Wilson, Pipilotti Rist, Bjork and Andy Warhol.

This is an opportunity for creative professionals working in the advertising industry to share their imaginations and passions across one of the world’s most visible and iconic platforms. In connection to year two of the D&AD Impact awards, artists are invited to submit their artistic, digital content inspired by social impact.
